I love meeting people who enjoy reading as much as i do.
I'm such a bookworm :)
One book that i read and it is on my favourite list is
She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb.
This book was a Oprah Book Club Selection.
It's the story of a girl named Dolores and it recounts her life story from age 4 until 40. It's such a great read because you see her go through life and all these long trial and error processes trying to find her place in the world. It's a good read.

MY current Favorite Book is Atonement
I find the story very intererting
and i love romance.
Jane Eyre is also great book,
my favorite thing about it is the fact that it is written about a strong, independent woman, but was written in a time when men ruled.

i never read atonement books, but i ever watch the movie :]

I love Strip City by Lily Burana.
She's about to get married, so she decides to get back to her late teen years stripping life; so she takes a year to tour the USA, stripping in every big city.
It's really well-written, and very funny.

I love reading books too!
Middlesex sounds good....It was an Oprah book club book? Huh, I remember everyone reading it in high school....You know what is another great book? "The perks of being a wallflower!" That book changed my life, it's the first book that truly explains what it's like to be a teenager...I don't know how you can explain it....You just have to read it. It's amazing but even if you don't relate to him at all, the main character will still make you smile.
Posted by June Paski on
yay same with me :]
yeah it's oprah book, inclunde me too,yay i ever read that book
im agree with you, it's great book, i can't explain it too lol

i like Violet By Design by Melissa Walker. the author writes for Seventeen and Elle magazine as well. it's just about a teenage girl who is also a supermodel and it just talks about what she goes through.

i want to read more books too, i just haven't had the time recently lol

I don't read as much as I should, but I am working on that.
Here are 2 completely different books that I adore:

The Chronicles of Narnia BY: C.S. Lewis
{I'm kind of an overgrown kid for that one, but it's a great story!}

Cottonmouth Kisses By: Clint Catalyst

i like the chronicles of narnia, i already finnished read all that series
it's very great books, my my mind like fly to narnia world :p

i dunno that clint catalyst have a books, i really want read his books

I love reading books too... I have a lot of favourite books, so I will not count them up here:) It would take way too much time.
The last pearl which I have found, however, is The Black Magician Trilogy by Trudi Canavan. It takes place in a country called Kyralia and follows the life of a girl called Sonea, who accidentally finds that she has magical powers. That is very unusual since she is from poorer parts of the city and all the magicians are usually nobles. I haven't finished the series completely yet, but I expect to do that soon.
If you're not into fantasy and sci-fi(like I am), you should still like Twilight(by Stephenie Meyer) and its sequels, because it is mostly a love story. What makes it different is that the male main character Edward is a "vegetarian" vampire, who loves the human Bella, but is drawn to her blood at the same time. Twilight is very popular among young adults... I must admit that I just fell in love with Edward!!!
But if you don't like that kind of books at all, maybe you'd like Pride and prejudice by Jane Austen. That is a love story that takes place in England between poor Elizabeth and rich Mr.Darcy.

i like read sci-fi and fantasy but it must contain love story, cuz i dunno i really like read about love story, it can teach me how to make good relationship with boys, cuz boys is very complicated :p,i know Twilight but it not on sale in my country, lot of great books not sale in here :[, vegetarian vampire sounds cool, edwards must be very handsome, i really want read that books >.<, i ever read pride and prejudice when im in highschool and i already watch that movie, have u ever read Jane eyre ?, it's great books too

Hey,

That's awesome, that you are so into reading.

I would say that I have a bunch of favourite books but the two that stand out the most to me would be:

Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
This is a book about a girl before she gets into highschool getting raped and breaking up a back to school party. She looses all her friends, forgets who she is a looses a big part of her life because of the "Monster". This book is incredible. Something that not only rape victims can relate too, but girls in general.

Another book that I have really enjoyed is Go Ask Alice, nobody knows who wrote it. This is a book about a fifteen year old girl who gets drugged at a party in a dangerous party game. She drinks a coke laced with LSD and eventually becomes hooked on drugs. It is written in diary form as is Speak.

Both of this stories are really great, easy reads but so interesting that you won't want to put them down. Give yourself a couple hours and you will finish these must reads off.

- Becca.

i will try to check it and read it, i ever read a books like go ask alice the name of book is born in blue, the story is same with it, but more darker cuz she consume drugs since shes thirteen, have u read natascha ?

Gosh! I wish that I still read as much as I used to...

I think the best book I've read in a long time is "Musicophilia" by Oliver Sacks. It's a bunch of narrative "case studies" by a doctor/neurologist. Through the course of the book he explores how music affects the brain. For example, a middle aged man who'd hardly played an instrument gets struck by lightning and gains an incredible ability to compose. In another case, a guy with a 5 second memory can remember much more when he plays music.

It's pretty cool because it helps explain how our brains work but also shows that there is a lot more to learn about them.

wow thats great i never read that books, i think i should check it out
and learn more about them it would be great :]

i love reading too, but lately i haven't done as often as i used to
my favorite book is eleven minutes by paulo coelho. is about a girl who meets a guy and he promises her to make her famous, but she ends up working as a prostitute.
i like that book because it narrates the life of that girl, since she was in 5th grade, and how she came up with the thought that love wasn't meant for her.

aww thats sad story, i should read that books

My favourite book is Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer. It's about a 10 year old boy coping with the loss of his father after the 9/11 tragedy. He is incredibly smart, and witty. It's a sad, hilarious, and overall moving story. You should check it out!

I am so glad that you enjoy reading! That's wonderful my dear!
I can't imagine my life without books of Oscar Wilde! It is love for all my life:)
Then one of my favorite book is "Invisible Monsters" by Chuck Palahniuk. Campy banter, grotesque visuals (after all, one of the main characters has her bottom jar shot off -- hence, "invisible monster") -- it's not exactly a beach read, but it's certainly interesting and pretty hard to ignore. This book is twisted and delightful.

i ever read oscar wilde books, it's very great, classic story
but i never read invisible monsters, i will find it if u says it's very great books :]
